Over the past week I have posted a few things elsewhere that may be of interest to readers of this blog.
Over at The Conversation, I have launched a new column called — The Disruptive Economist — which has a certain appeal to me. The first column was about Uber and its recent PR troubles and the second was about getting rid of our wallets. The Conversation is a site that has been around for a few years now in Australia and then the UK and it has just launched its North American version. It is basically a site that allows academics to write about their research to a popular audience. It is well worth your attention (apart from my obvious self-serving shilling here).
Today, at RAUR, I did another podcast ranting against Nicholas Carr who annoyed me today on the Internet. It is about his strange arguments against automation.
